The Maurice Kochert Assembly 3289

     On March 6, 2011 a there was a meeting with State Master Dale Hager, Jim Geary, and Frank Mikeska, and Frank Ordner. The purpose of that meeting was to bring forth what the membership from Pope John Paul Council 1808 II had discussed many times earlier over the years -to form our own Fourth Degree Assembly.
      Past Faithful Navigator, James Geary had many times discussed with other members of the Pope John Paul II Council  as there was as many active members participating actively in the Fourth Degree as the Third Degree. 

Phone calls were made and Frank Ordner, started the process by calling The Fourth degree Supreme to obtain necessary paper work as well as finding out the necessary steps  needed to become an Assembly.  After receiving the applications and the necessary paper work was filed, an organizational meeting  was called.

      The organizational meeting was held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday March 6, 2011, the Form 100's were signed, the Bylaws were adopted and approved.  Next a meeting night was chosen and last but not least the name of the Assembly was chosen as "The Maurice Kochert Assembly 3289. Maurice Kochert Assembly News

          There will be NO Assembly meeting January.   The next meeting will be Monday, Feb. 6th at 7:30. S/K James Geary was elected Faithful Comptroller at the Dec. 5th meeting.  The result of this is that we now need to fill the position of Faithful Purser. Anyone interested contact one the Faithful Trustee.   I was very proud of the number of Sir Knights who participated in the  recent Honor Guard at St. Joseph's on Dec 12. Your presence was very much appreciated.
