Welcome to the Pope John Paul II Council 1808! The Knights of Columbus was founded 125 years ago by Father Michael J. McGivney to help Catholic Men and there families. Today we continue that mission serving the Parishes of Harrison County, Indiana.
Father Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus as Catholic Fraternal organization to provide financial assistance to the members families. Today more then 1.7 million men call themselves knights serving God, the church and the fraternal brothers of the organization in in 1882 the men of the Knights of Columbus has dedicated themselves to service to each other. As members we hope to make a difference through our Faith, Community, Family, and Fellowship we share as Brother Knights.

Our annual Clergy Appreciation Dinner will be November 14, 2011 with a cash bar at 6:00 p.m. and dinner at 6:30. You must RSVP by November 7, 2011 Cost will be $13.00 per person or $25 per couple. The dinner will be catered by Mike Hoen.Once again it promises to be a fun filled evening with good food, good friends and a good time.
