THE KNIGHTLY

Volume 17 Issue 3                       SEPTEMBER 2011

From the Grand Knight

At our monthly August business meeting the council members voted on and approved a $15,000 Benefit Fund budgeted for the upcoming year. The council will donate the money to our different Knights of Columbus activities: church, community, youth, pro-life, families and council. Money used to support the Fund is made up from profits from our two most important functions: weekly bingo and monthly fish fries. Without these functions and the support of our loyal customers and dedicated workers this Benefit Fund would not be possible. Thank you for your support and, if any member would like to help, please contact me at 812-738-3746. I invite each of you to attend our monthly business meeting, September 13 at 7:45 PM. May God bless you and your families.
